Our Paris partner, Jens Bürkle, in collaboration with the French Chapter of the Society of Construction Law, had the pleasure of conducting a workshop at ITER in Cadarache on FIDIC Contracts in Nuclear Construction and Variation Management.
The session explored how standard EPC frameworks must be adapted to the regulatory, technical, and interface challenges of nuclear and fusion projects, and gathered ITER’s contract and project teams for an engaging exchange on lessons learned from other complex nuclear plants.
The subsequent visit to the ITER facilities provided a unique insight into one of the world’s most ambitious scientific ventures, where law, engineering, and innovation converge on a global scale.
